For the first time, we are set to have a substantial fruit harvest at the eco-village. This is the first year that the fruit trees are bearing a lot of fruit. Most of the trees are three years old. Christoph, originally from Germany, and his Indian colleague Boicha visited to get to know the Shikha eco-learning-village site because we are planning to collaborate on establishing a flexible self-learning space for our local community. Right from the beginning of our work, our concept has been to create several sites for researching, working, and learning that would collaborate and form a network.
